LITTLE ROCK – The Pulaski County Republican Committee today announced the 2022 filing period for candidates running for county and township offices will begin at noon Tuesday, February 22 and end at noon Tuesday, March 1.

Candidates may file with the PCGOP at the Republican Party of Arkansas Headquarters located at 1201 W. 6th Street in Little Rock at the following times:

  • February 22: 4:30pm – 6:30pm
  • February 23: 4:30pm – 6:30pm
  • February 24: 4:30pm – 7:30pm
  • By appointment all other days

A member of the PCGOP will be present to accept candidate filing fees and provide appropriate forms. 

After filing with the county Republican Party, candidates must provide written evidence of filing fee payment and additional paperwork to the Pulaski County Clerk before noon on March 1. 

Candidate filing fees for the 2022 election are:

County Judge$750 
County Assessor$750 
County Circuit Clerk$750 
County Sheriff$750 
County Treasurer$750 
Justice of the Peace$500 
Constable$100 

The preferential primary is May 24, 2022.
