Partisan Resolution Praising Decertified Election Worker Fails

On Tuesday, the Pulaski County Quorum Court rejected a heavily partisan resolution that equated Republican Pulaski County Election Commissioners to those who stormed the U.S. Capitol while praising the work of a county election coordinator who worked for Judge Barry Hyde that admitted he allowed 327 illegal absentee ballots to be counted.

The resolution by five-term Democratic JP Lillie McMullen failed to get the eight votes needed on the 15-members Quorum Court (10 Democrats, 5 Republicans) required for passage.

Due to his actions during the counting of votes in Pulaski County last year, County Director of Elections Bryan Poe (a direct-report employee of Judge Hyde) was decertified as an election worker by the Pulaski County Election Commission.  Poe remains a county employee, earning $84,599.84 per year.
