With a long history as a champion of education and workforce development issues, it is no surprise that Sen. Jane English (North Little Rock) filed another bill today to ensure Arkansas children are ready for the future.

The proposed Computer Science Education Advancement Act (SB107) would require that Arkansas student entering the ninth-grade in 2022 earn one computer science credit in order to graduate from high school.

The legislation would also require public school districts to employ a computer science teacher at every high school.

Thanks to the Senator for filing this bill to make sure our children' futures are bright!
